How to add an international company

A company in Harbor Compliance’s software is a single legal entity. Recording a company with a domicile outside of the United States is not much different than recording an entity domiciled in the US:

1. Log in to the Harbor Compliance website.

2. Click Companies

3. Click + Add Company in the upper right.

4. Fill out the Company information. Three fields must be entered: Legal Name, Business Structure, and Domicile. All other fields can be filled out but are not required. 

*If you do not see the desired international jurisdiction in our interface, we will be more than happy to add it - please contact us!

5. Once you have finished filling out the Company information, click Submit.

Please note that our compliance expertise is focused in the US, and some of the advanced features in our software are only built to support the US.

Your international company is automatically enrolled in Entity Manager; however, automatic branch detection and detection of annual reports is not as reliable for international entities as it is for domestic entities. Simply use the + Add Registration button in the top right of Entity Manager to manually add any registrations that are missing.
