We hate to see you go, but if you wish to cancel your registered agent service, please contact us before your subscription renewal due date. After that date, your invoice will remain due for that subscription year. We notify you 90 days prior to your subscription renewal date to give you plenty of time to let us know you wish to cancel your service.
How to change your registered agent:
Unless we withdraw at our own discretion, we will continue to be listed in the state records until you submit a filing to change your registered agent. You can find instructions in our Information Center to change your registered agent. Or, if you are closing operations in the state, you can find instructions to withdraw your registration or dissolve your entity.
By canceling your registered agent service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
We have processed your request to cancel your registered agent service and therefore, as of today’s date, we are no longer obligated to provide such service;
We have no obligation to forward any documents to you that we receive after today’s date;
You will appoint a new representative to serve as your registered agent;
You understand that failure to appoint a registered agent has consequences under state corporate law, including, but not limited to possible suspension of certain rights and privileges and possible imposition of fines and penalties;
And you agree to hold Harbor Compliance harmless from and to defend and indemnify Harbor Compliance from any claims, losses, fines, penalties or other liability related to your failure to appoint a new registered agent after today’s date.
